When do you see three generations of Knott Enders in one place at the same time having a good night?
Last night the Knott end Working Mens Club opened their doors to the 16 – 18 year olds in the area to come in enjoy the football on the big screen, play some games and enjoy some of the benefits the club has to offer.
The feedback has been excellent from both the young people and the members.
A big thank you to Nicola Patrick who helped to organise this event and also to the bar staff, who as usual were magnificent.
And a very big thank you to all the members who welcomed the young people and helped to make them feel part of our great club.
And finally a big thank you to the young people themselves who respected both the club and the members and admitted that they enjoyed themselves so much that they have asked if they can come back again.
I think last night showed that the older, middle and younger generations only need a great place to feel like a home from home (with a few added extras) to enjoy a night out in everyones company and when these young people do come back they can be assured that the will receive a warm welcome by the club and its members.
